The following shall replace the third paragraph of A1.3.3: For the strength limit state: $\eta D$ ≥ 1.05 for nonductile components and connections = 1.00 for all other designs and details For all other limit states: $\eta D$ = 1.00

201.3.4 - Redundancy

SPECIFICATIONS	COMMENTARY
The following shall replace the second paragraph of A1.3.4. For the strength limit state: $\eta _{R}$ ≥ 1.05 for nonredundant members = 1.00 for all other designs and details For all other limit states: $\eta _{R}$ = 1.00	C201.3.4 The following shall replace the second paragraph of AC1.3.4: Single cell box girders and single column bents shall be considered to be non-redundant members.

201.3.5 - Operational Importance

SPECIFICATIONS	COMMENTARY
The following shall replace the second paragraph of A1.3.5: For all bridges, the operational importance load modifier, $\eta _{I}$, shall be taken as 1.0. The third paragraph of A.1.3.5 shall be deleted.	C201.3.5 The second (last) paragraph of AC1.3.5 shall be deleted.
